Walking Further Afield
Many people in our group love to explore our fantastic country and other countries by foot. Our group sometimes organizes our own walking travel holidays. This can be in the form of:
Base Camp where you stay at the one location and venture out to walks each day.
Travelling, staying at various locations incorporating walking with exploring an area.
These trips are usually in Victoria or interstate.
Travelling as a small group to an overseas destination, either self-organising, or using a tour company.
The contact people are not the tour organisers. They are just the initiators. Participants are expected to assist in the process of organising the tour. Expressions of interest does not mean you are committed at this stage – it just means you can be involved in the discussions of how the trip might evolve from the beginning.
