This month’s walk will be along the Maribyrnong River with lunch at the Anglers’ Tavern Maribyrnong. I propose two walks, a medium and an easy. The medium takes us around sweeping bends, both high and low, following the perimeter of the derelict munitions precinct. Great vistas of the city and beyond.
Easy to start at the same place but proceeds in the opposite direction. Also following sweeping bends, the walk initially travels east then south. Lovely parklands and water birds to take in. Both walks are there and back.
I need to know numbers by Wednesday 15th so I can firm booking at the pub. Please indicate which walk you will be attending. Carpooling will be from the Diamond Valley Sports Complex. Let me know if you can be a driver or need a lift. Depending on numbers, one of the walks may not proceed. More details later.
